Biography

Beth began her legal profession in 1988 in a small law firm in Wichita, Kansas. From Kansas, she moved to Indiana and worked for a law firm in downtown Indianapolis and then on to the Terre Haute law firm of Brames, Abel & Oldham in 1993. When Eric Abel became a sole practitioner in 1996, Beth continued her position as legal assistant for Eric, whose practice was and still is focused exclusively on family law. In 2011, with her 22 years of legal assistant experience, Beth was moved into the position of paralegal for Eric. Beth applies her 31 years of legal experience and her empathy for clients’ situations to work towards a successful outcome for every client with as little stress as possible.

Beth lives with her daughter in Marshall, Illinois. She is an active member of Marshall Baptist Church. Beth enjoys spending every spare second she can with her daughter and their dog, Kara, traveling to the Florida beaches to relax, and from time to time, indulging in a good John Grisham book.
