Biography

Beth began her legal profession in 1988 in a small law firm in Wichita, Kansas. From Kansas, she moved to Indiana and worked for a law firm in downtown Indianapolis and then on to the Terre Haute law firm of Brames, Abel & Oldham in 1993. When Eric Abel became a sole practitioner in 1996, Beth continued her position as legal assistant for Eric Abel, whose practice was and still is focused exclusively on family law. In 2011, with her 22 years of legal assistant experience, Beth was moved into the position of paralegal for Eric Abel and now, with additional attorneys added to the law firm, works as paralegal and bookkeeper for Abel & Reed. Beth applies her 35+ years of legal experience and her empathy for clients’ situations to work towards a successful outcome for every client with as little stress as possible.

Beth is the proud mom of a beautiful daughter, Makayla, who will graduate from Grace College in Winona Lake, IN in May of 2024 with a degree in counseling. Beth enjoys spending as much time as possible with her daughter and their dog Kara and enjoys traveling when possible and indulging in a good John Grisham book.
